You sure it's the oil light and not the "check engine" light? A flashing "check engine" light indicates that the motor is misfiring bad enough to damage the catalytic converter.
If it is a flashing oil light, hopefully it's a flakey oil pressure sender or perhaps a bad wire from the sensor, otherwise it could indicate that the oil pump needs replacing. You can pick up a cheap oil pressure gauge from Harbor Freight (
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=92687 ) or probably something similar for twice as much money from an auto parts store, unscrew your oil pressure sender, and get a direct reading of your oil pressure.

Haven't seen one for the Gen3 rigs at camrystuff. You can hardcopies cheaply on ebay, or you can subscribe to a two-day pass at Toyota TIS ( techinfo.toyota.com ) for $15 and download any manual you want (although the Factory Service Manual has to be downloaded in itty bitty pieces)
