MY 2000 Clunker leaking oil, gas, and no oxygen (help me!)

Hey ya'll,

Always love comming here because I learn more about my car. My specs are on ym profile, but im

2000 cam, v6, le, green, sexy, a beast.

anyhwho, we had some check engine lights comming on about a gas leak (cant remember precise code), and the front bus oxygen senser (the long skinny one, not the EGR valve) going bad. I just replaced the sensor, but the problem persisted. I also am leaking oil,(edit: its comming from the upper left corner, if looking at the car from under the hood-my front to its front) and I have indeed changed the front valve cover gasket but must do the rear I guess.

Questions as follows:

Is the oxy sensor bad? could it be another part of the car (hose going to it...ect?)((my dad thinks it could be the newer higher ethanol in our gas thaqts messing up the computer to oxygen sensor thingie-ma-jig)
Am I leaking gas, proabaly, so, If so, anywhere to look in particular?(maye the ethanol broke a hose?)
Anything special about changing the reas valve cover gasket? (I did the front FINE, and no probs, but never saw or understood the rear one but I guess I can look around)

any other info you need from me, just yell at me to get it and I shall.

edit: I did search for both the rear cover gasket diy and the 2000 manual, to no avail, so if anyone knows a place (free...im a poor college student) ide really appreciate it

Come back with the exact codes, and you'll get some answers, or at least some decent guesses. Otherwise, it's all pissin' in the wind.

I guess it's fashionable to blame shit on ethanol, but if you're running a 10% ethanol / gas mix, it's not going to cause any issues with the rig, other than lower gas mileage. I assume you're not running E85 in the Cam .

I don't have a six-banger, but I understand messing with things on the rear bank (plugs, valve cover, etc) is a bit entertaining. The factory service manual can be found at www.camrystuff.com, Generation 4. Maybe someone else here knows a good DIY that shows accessing the rear bank valve cover on the six banger.
