3rd Generation how to take orange piece out of parking lights?

What temp should i bake them at so i dont melt the plastic? I want to take out the orange piece and night shade the orange and put it back in. Do they just slide out? And will the night shade be okay to bake after i paint?

thanks!

chris

only reason i asked is because i baked my turn sigs for a "mod" before and completly melted the housing of them and had to order new ones

For the headlights, 300 degrees for like five minutes (sit there and watch it the whole time) works.

I don't know about murdered out corners, never seen those. Sounds kinda cool!

I've seen people clear them and the orange reflector just slid out or popped out.

Just spray it with some high temp paint. If you're making them black, get krylon grill paint. That shit holds up to like 2500 degrees F.

Ridiculous.

well im not painting the whole light black so im technically not murderin them lol. just the little piece and my friend and i just baked his headlights to black out so i guess we will do my parking lights soon. =] i think it is going to look good. will match my theme well =] i think it will make for a nice offset instead of just taken off the orange piece and leaving out.
