96 I think you can still get
Bilsteins. Go with those from Autozone. The only type available, Touring Class, is not as firm as HD or Sport. And Autozone's Lifetime Warranty is easier and much more friendly.
KYB is commonly known as "Keep Your Bilsteins". And for good reasons.
For daily drivers I like to spec Gabriel Ultras.
You should replace mounts along with struts. Repack strut bearings, I use Redline CV-2 synthetic. Autozone's Valvoline DuraBlend grease should work too.

But i had an idea cuz i know how to get 2 KYB rear struts for almost the price of one Tokico, and then i could replace those, send em back to Tokico, they could refund me with new struts and i could sell em somewhere for cheap and get me on top with the installation costs cuz my strut mounts sound like they are gone as well.
Is this a dumb idea bcuz KYB is prolly completly different than tokico? Mind you ive had tokico since 2006, and a good 30-40k miles on em with the factory soft springs, so they arent sporty right now, but its really unsafe hitting a bump and the car goes flying cuz the rear struts have leaked out.
Ideas?
