I want to remove my Climate control from the dash.
1992 Toyota Camry LE w/ the cable driven temperature knob and switch air circulation switch.

I cant seem to get it out, I know there is a special way. I removed the dash panel, the radio, and of course unscrewed the climate control. I popped off the knobs and unscrewed the screw behind the temperature knob. I can't pull it off. How do I get the cable (or w/e it is) off from the temperature side, and how do I get the rod off that chooses air circulation?

you should be able to get enough wiggle room to unclip the temp dial unit from the rest of the unit. i believe there are 4 tabs that hold it down.

you can unhook the cable. its held down by a spring clip and has a metal loop on the end that goes over a small pin on the back of the dial unit. i know its a real pain to work in there, but you should still be able to get the 4 tabs off. if i recall, theres 2 on top and 2 on the bottom.
