3rd Generation Gen: 3 New Owner Looking for Advice outside FAQ and Search (PICS)

Hey,

I just picked up a 1992 Camry for $900 from the original owner, it's high miles but well maintained 212k. Steal!?!

I'm looking for parts suppliers for various aftermarket pieces.
-Front Grille
-OEM fit Seat Covers
-ECU, AIR, Exhaust

I'd like honest opinions on what parts are actually worth swapping and in what order. First round of upgrades is going to be es300 brakes and 15" alloy rims w/snows.

I post heavy on the forums, and will keep a journal somewhere here.

Also looking for common PITA problems, any sensors or parts that are common to fail and leave you stranded, those will be the first to be replaced.

Thanks Guys,
-Patrick

congrats on the hookup. i see 5 speed, is it a V6?

OEM seat covers; if ya want something good you can check out ebay. they make replacment seat covers in a variety of finishes.

intake and exhaust have to pretty much be custom with the exception that you are a 5sfe(4cyl). you can use the OBX headers for the 97+ 4cyl and they will fit...IF your a 4cyl.

a member here is making custom gen3 grills, "cleanwhitecamry", he has been building them for a while. Just PM him if he doesn't post here.
