A normal C-clamp as mentioned or a bar clamp I like to use:

Put one end against the engine bay side of the caliper (not on the brake hose/banjo) and the handle side against the outer pad. This also allows you to easily open the bleeder screw so the brake fluid gets squeezed out instead of heading back to the master cylinder. If you care about things like that.

It's a good time to flush out the fluid. I like to use Castrol GT LMA or Valvoline Synthetic. Both are Low Moisture Activity fluids.
Yeah, those European performance cars are a pain. Try one with a 4 or 6 piston "physics-defying" Brembo brake system!
