hey im looking to install new fog light housings on my 92 camry le right in the spaces in the bumper below the turn signals. what are a nice rectangular housing that will fit down there? i also need them to be able to fit an HID bulb. what car should i take them off of? i was thinking maybe a e36 bmw fog light would fit?

i really like the look of the rectangular fogs in the teardrop hole. idk why i just do. but i know that i dont like the look of the alero fogs. and like all of the alero fogs have a projector look which im not going for. projector fogs look awkward in my opinion.

I have rectangle fogs... I like them, I feel they fit in just right, and they look OEM.
Light output with low beams.
^ The lamp glass were tinted yellow in this photo, now back to clear.

A girl I know works with supply @ Strauss Auto Stores. I looked for a while for fog lamps that were not ricey blue, and would actually fit with the look of my car. Finally I came across them, my friend found the ones I wanted, and I got them for free because they were deemed 'damaged' upon delivery, i tested the lights, they worked fine, just the box was torn. I couldnt care, free is free.
& btw nice hood pins bird.

well i guess if everyone did it then thoes of us who did wouldnt look better anymore.
seriously though i understand, to each their own. you can find retangular ones at just about any auto parts store in various sizes. ivew seen them on many gen3s and they look good. the only other reason to get aleros is they are OEM quality which many aftermarket ones lack. if you could find an OEM fog in the size and shape ya like then thats all kinds of win.
Alero fogs are the only way to go. They look way more factory than rectangular fogs.
but the projectors look retarded in my opinion. and plus fog lights work better without projectors...

ive always liked the word "retarded" when describing an inanimate object. it always shows the depths of someone's vocabulary. a simple "i dont like them" would suffice.
however i think they look better when using projector headlights. they are better then regular fogs in terms of lighting. more concentrated...just like projector headlights. im sure youll find what you think is not retarded and enjoy them.
I agree. Alero fogs do look more oem but everyones got their own taste. The rectangular fogs could look real nice if they were tucked in more instead of sticking out. Just my two cents
