This or That?

Spyder Bodykit
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...#ht_2881wt_941

or

Cyber II Bodykit
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...#ht_3059wt_941

on the Spyder, the blinker/parking light thats below the headlight is taken out..so where would the blinker be?

and on the Cyber II, is the blinker the long piece from a gen3 or is it the shorter blinker from the gen3.5

Personally, I'm more of a lip kit kind of guy. I would swap the bumper to a gen3.5 bumper and get the rmm lip, a razzi rear valence add-on, and erebuni shogun sides. would cost a bit more, but look so much better.

Here's one for reference.

^ good luck finding that rear valence. that thing is harder to find then a scepter pannel. called a few sites that actually had them listed and nope...none in stock. but one site did have the whole kit but wouldnt part it.

i like how the cyber kit looks fuller, but then again the spyder looks cleaner. im leaning towards the cyber kit as of now though

i would go the route with the gen3.5 swap and the razzi etc. but my funds are more on the cheaper side

Your car actually looks pretty good man. If you drop it, it would look better than putting any kit on it.

But if I had to choose b/w the two, I would go with the cyber.

thanks i was thinking about that..theyre around the same price (i think) minus the paint job. if i were to go with the kit i'd be rocking it with the white primer for awhile...but if i lower, i was just gonna use the $100 dropzone or zenn springs with the kyb struts. idk what else is needed though.

do you know if the cyber uses the short 3.5 front turn signals or the gen3

eh, you probably don't want to run around with the kit unpainted... too many "rice" jokes would pop up

If anything, do as 94camryman said, and drop her about an inch. the car looks good as-is, and the lines are pretty nice. maybe do the lower part of your front bumper in black? I'm considering that for when the white stuff melts, and once I have some time on my hands

yea true..but then again im that much closer to having a one of a kind car with the kit. if lowering it is probably cheaper then ill go that route..i dont think ill have enough money for the paint job sooner then i'd wanted

just a little off, um who votes for me to go with an unpainted kit vs lowering the car

what do you mean paint the bottom part black?

As they constantly say on VWVortex...Lower It!
You've got the wheels, now you need Stance! (working on that myself right now...lol)

would a camber kit be necessary (whatever that is)? i checked the spring/strut guide but i dont think its metioned.

ill be straight forward..i dont know how/what i need to lower a car. so ill be having a shop or a friend do it for me. All i know is springs + struts. but when i was searching online, a bunch of other parts came up with the struts like a strut mount & shock mount. are those needed as well?

Unless you are going with an extreme drop, you want need a camber kit. And I'm pretty sure you can just reuse those things if they arent too worn. You need the mounts, spring seats, bump stop, dust boot, i think im missing something. Venom make a nice thread about it. Just type "suspension" in the search bar and you'll find it. You could just save a bit more and buy some coils. Then it's all there, pre-assembled for you.
