Exclamation Stupid left side of car broke all the time....ugh

Okay so here is the dealio. When I first got my 93 Camry LE, the left front and rear speakers did not work. The stock head unit was in at the time so i thought there could just be a wiring issue. I took out the stock unit and replaced it with an aftermarket head unit. Everything was wired perfectly, trust me when I say this, really do know what I'm doing. New head unit in, still no sound out of the whole left side of car. So I assumed blown speakers. Just bought 4 new speakers about 2 days ago. I got the front ones in but am still trying to accomplish the rear ones (thank you toyota). ANYWAY, got the new ones in and guess what.... LEFT SIDE STILL DOESN'T EFFING WORK!! All the wiring behind the head unit has been checked. All the wiring inside the left door panel has been checked. And all the fuses under the hood have been checked. WTF Mate?

Help please. ^_^ ....asap would be awesome.

(and so no one gets mad... i used the search engine first and I didn't find what I was looking for.)

Wiring, or 2 damaged units.
Test the units and old speakers in another car etc.

A bad unit would cause just the left 2 speakers to not work rather than all four???

i would try connecting a speaker straight behind HU for suspected side that doesnt work.

if speaker sounds connected directly then theres issue with wiring after HU and before speaker locations

You have a wiring issue.
I don't quite recall how the wiring goes for the speakers, it is wierd that only your right door works though.

But, I mean, seriously, you replaced the speakers, head unit, what else is left? whats in between, the wiring.

My 92 has a similar issue, no front speakers, only rear. Damn thing isn't loud enough with 2 speakers! I think its my door wiring. I gotta pull my drivers side door apart anyways.

When you checked the wiring...what did you use to test it with? Battery and a light bulb? Multimeter? A home stereo unit with the output hooked up to the car speakers (just don't turn it up too loud)?

Did you test each wire separately and to each other?

I had the same problem when I added the factory OEM cd player/changer (3 disc changer with a magazine made by Alpine) to my 94 XLE Camry about 10 years ago. Couldn't get the left side speakers to work with the cd changer. Worked fine with the radio. Fiddled with the connector in back of the cd changer and all the speakers came on. It's been fine for 10 years. Check the wiring in to the connector at the back of the radio itself.
