3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Just to update you all. I have gone into an online Scepter Club in Japan. I posted their photos a while ago. The website where I got the Photos from was outdated probably because they have been using the "carview" site more often. This site has 78 Scepter Wagon owners including the fire red widebody wagon. I am going to try to contact them regarding the parts.
I have contacted ChargeSpeed for a brand new SXV15 Front lip and they quoted me NZD 567 plus shipping. I will email all the other enthusiasts here in NZ regarding a bulk purchase just to keep the costs down. There is also a brand called GOM-Sport and the front lip is way simpler than the ChargeSpeed one.
I have seen a lot of Scepter Parts here including the US all red rear tail lights for the Gen 3/3.5 wagon. Once we have tapped into their Scepter Community, my contact there would be able to help us get some of their specialty parts.

Isn't it illegal to operate high-mileage vehicles in Japan because of strict emission standards?
No, that follows the lines of the myth of JDM engines @ 30K, because they aren't allowed to keep them.
But, there is truth to claim as you are able to keep your car, but I think it costs more (eg. extra taxes) on higher mileage vehicle. Don't quote on that though.

SADLY, SHE HAS MUCH MORE MODS...
If you're referring to body parts/rear panels, we have more of those Gen 3 Scepter parts than in Japan. I'm referring to tune up and aero parts that can only be found in Japan, like Gomuya Sport, Dolphin Aeroform, etc., which can only be found in Japan. I've never heard of those 'til yesterday.

Bro, you won't believe it but accdg. to a friend of mine in the land of the rising sun, he had encountered that Scepter already and the owner said the car was wearing 20x8s. My friend hadn't asked about the offset though. They managed to fit those in.
