Folding Mirrors?

Hey Guys,

I got into an accident the other day in my 2001 Camry LE, but fortunately the only damage was to my passenger side sideview mirror, which was smashed off. I figure replacing it will be pretty simple, but I was wondering if folding mirrors are available as an direct bolt in.

Anyone know where/if I could find folding side mirrors that fit without modification?

Thanks!

Ebay is allways a good spot to look for info on prices and stuff ,, a quick search seys 97 to 01 will work but all they have listed are stock style that dont fold for about 25$ on up.

Yeah, seems like the non-folding mirrors are pretty easy to find, I'm just hoping that there are some aftermarket folders.

Thanks for checking for me!

Yeah, the JDM's are power folding. I got one from Japan but haven't installed it yet. I'll post pics later.

If you install mirrors with the power folding option, I'm assuming you're going to have to do some wiring and add a switch to your dash?

That's a good idea to check the JY. Any idea which years I should be looking for?

hay guys take it from me. the jdm folding are very nice i had a set. the only thing is u cant see shit out of them. thay cant ajust that way. for example try siting in the passenger seat and adjusting your mirrors so you can see. and with out the wireing harness and all parts and relays all you will have is manual mirrors. if you want ones that fit with little moding look at the lexus. thay are LHD and easy to find.
