SecuriKey disable without remote when changing battery
SecuriKey alarm system in a 98 Camry V6...Anyone know the sequence for turning the alarm off when replacing the battery..Had a brochure somewhere from Securikey that said insert key and start car something like 3 times , press the brake twice and push the red button ...Help anyone
if your talking about when you put the new battery in and then the alarm goes off then yeah theres no sequence you just press the unlock button and the alarm will turn off

Sorry forgot to post that my alarm remote is no longer working,,,And yes there is a sequence to turning it off,I have the instructions that came with the vehicle paperwork but its packed away at the moment(moving at the present time) ..Anyone?? Thanks
2000 Camry, replaced the battery and could not shut alarm off. Went to the relay panel on the driver side in the engine compartment and pulled the horn relay. This gave me some piece and quiet to play with the sequence to shut the alarm off. I held my tongue to the left, shut the door, turned the key on and pumped the brakes, pushed the red button several times, held the brakes pushed the red button several times and finally killed the alarm. Hope this helps. You know you're golden when the car starts. Reseated the horn relay and life is good.
I had to work on my bro-in-laws car that had this.
And like the previous poster said, the first thing I did was pull the horn relay.
And then I found the little manual.
So first make sure the button is OUT.
Then lock and close the door.
Hook up the battery.
Unlock door with key.
Put key in ignition and turn to "ON"
Then push in button on dash.
This is Valet mode or something like that.
Should be good to go, then put the horn relay back in.
Edit: These alarms annoy me big time. If I had a shop and worked on cars for a living, I'd charge $100 right off the bat for dealing with cars with alarms. Dumb. Just my opinion though.
