Can the damage be fixed without replacing the fender?

Was in an accident and the driver-side front fender was hit (please see the pictures). I've visited a couple of auto body shops and gotten the estimates. They suggested to replace the fender, and the prices are not affordable for me. I'm thinking if it's possible to fix the damage without replacing the fender. And my car is 1998 Camry XLE with the green color. I don't expect the car looks perfect after the fix. Is my idea feasible?

Thanks

....NO. that will absolutly have to be replaced. unless you want to spend 3 times what a new fender would be worth.

laughing at the question not the damage. sorry to see.

You can TRY to pop all that shit back out, but it will not look anywhere near perfect.

Just get a new fender and put it on yourself. I just sold both front fenders for $40 so you should be able to find some relatively cheap. They're pretty easy to replace as well.

Try a local salvage yard. If you're lucky, you may find a car the same color as yours. Even if you don't find one the same color, you can get a replacement fender cheap.

all you would need is a new fender..you could usually just knock those dents out but its just a better option to get another fender...

Any time I've ever had body damage, I always try to fix it myself before I start replacing parts. If I have to replace parts, I just left the damage haha.

BIG +1 on that. It would be much easier to simply get a new fender from a bone yard, and just hold off on the painting for some time... You can try pulling/hammering everything back, but it won't look anywhere near perfect/original form...

isnt a new fender like 70 bucks? you could probably get one from a junk yard for $20

you can do it yourself with a 10mm wrench and a screw driver. if i recall, toyota deemed it necessary to use 378 screws and bolts to hold it on...

Yeah, I would definitely do the work myself on that one.

Shouldn't take you more than an hour with basic hand tools.

Thanks a lot.

It's ok for me to uninstall and install the fender. But, the paint job is out of my ability. I never do this before. This is why I don't want to replace the fender at the beginning.

you can pickup an aftermarket fender for $50-60. Paint it primer, then go to Autozone and get get Duplicolor color matched paint in the spray can. It matches rather well.
