so i changed out the brushes in my alt today and while putting the alt back in the (i belive) the positive wire struck the alt caseing arced i put everything back togeather ...and im not getting any power to the ignition switch im thinking its some kind of relay or fuse hoping its not a burnt wire

there is egg on my face lol

Probably a fuse. Check them all.

turnd out to be the 100 A fuse labeled alt....derrrr

Start with the fuse panel under the hood.
Just pull every fuse ONE AT A TIME. Inspect it then put it back if it isn't blown.

If those are all good, get in the car and check all the inside fuses. If all of those are good, then check relays under the hood with a multimeter.
