4th Generation 1MZ s/c parts???

I have a few questions, hopefully I can get some answered. I bought a supercharger a while back from ptballer....it was supposedly a full kit, everything there, etc...and I bought it about a year and a half ago. God, I wish I waited, every kit i've seen posted since then has been in much better shape.

Well, I still haven't put it in my car because I don't have the resources or the $$$ to do so. Also, being that my Camry is my only means of transportation, I didn't want to take everything apart and not be able to go anywhere. Comparing it to other kits that have been on sale, and talking to ASG14, I realized that I'm missing a few parts. I went over to my Toyota dealership and a mechanic there told me that I was missing the main shaft keyway and the EGR valve.

Does anyone know where I can get parts like that?? I would really appreciate it. Curse my impulsive decision-making .

Is the mainshaft key way the little metal nub that is supposed to be on the shaft where the pulley attaches?

If it is, you can probably take it to a machine shop and they can probably help you out. It is very doubtful that they can be bought separately. Though.... Places that rebuild eaton superchargers may have them separately too. Worse come to worst, you can always just pick up a rebuilt nose - around $400 - and problem solved.

As for the egr tube, if you can find it on here or on sg, you'll have to rig something up.

ASG14 knows how to modify the stock one to fit. he should be able to give you instructions on that.

Yes, thats the peice your thinking of. I thought a machine shop would've been my best bet too, thx Eye8.

I'll get pic's up by tomorrow, but I think the tube is fine, its the circular 'valve' on the opposite end of the nose of the s/c. I talked to Adam around a year ago, and he was very helpful but at the time I had a few things going on and I didn't have much resolve towards fixing this problem. If ASG14 can find his way to this thread, then that would work out great too . I would like to get a few pictures up so that anyone with experience with this kit can tell me if I'm missing anything else. I trust a few of you guys over anyone I've talked to at the 'non-trd' dealership.

also: you'll see when i get the pictures up, but the normally weird shaped tube has been modified with some sort of hi-temp flexible hose. I'm guessing because it was a problem to fit it into place? who knows. The guy at the dealership said that should be fine, but I want to know what you think. thanks again.
