Canada Need assistance

Hello, I have been looking for a part for my 1994 camry coupe, I can't seem to find. And I would really love some help. My driver side door hinge/stopper is in need of replacement. but i can't find the right part. Do they not make as many parts for the coupe as the 4 doors?

Derrick

Not sure what part you mean. Are you talking about the lock striker? Picture of the area in question might help.

There were a lot fewer coupes than four-doors made. Makes finding coupe-specific parts a bit more of a problem.

And it is the part number 68610. I just can't bring myself to spending $80 on this part, but if i can find it cheaper that would be great.

I have one from a 97 sedan? Think it would fit?

If so, you can have it for free.

^i think they are the same^

it should be the same as the 4 door. i had to replace my passenger side one and was told the only one avalible was the 4 door one. the mechanic said this was a common point of failure on the coupes because it didnt compensate for the larger door. they should have used a supra or SC stopper.

have you tried checking at a junkyard?

I replace the 68610 on Bigbirds, drivers door with one from a 4door I found at the Pick and Pull.

It was making this Loud, popping noise when you opened and closed the door.
