3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Some of you may have heard, but I've decided to go "passive" on these forums.....I bought a Lexus IS-F (sorry, I won't post pics on here to avoid any potential "conflicts").
As for the Camry I gave it to a family member.....so I'm only parting out the 18" wheels & tires for $850.
You can find it for sale here or in the SG forums: 18" Tenzo graphite rims & Yokohama tires
Thanks to everyone for their guidance and support.....ranging from HID retrofits to the Big 3 and such, it's been a fun ride. I'll probably stick around the Norcal regional events forum and try to attend the Bay Area meets. Otherwise, I'll be in the CL / my.IS forums.
You don't have to leave man. I bought a Bimmer, and that's not even remotely similar, and I'm still here.
Stick around, kick your shoes off, stay a while lol
IS-F is a much more thrilling vehicle than a Camry will ever be. Enjoy that thing! Yamaha helped with the design on that motor, as they did with the Supra motor. Just be prepared for the rigorous upkeep. They eat through a set of tires in about 10,000 miles, and every brake job has to include rotors. At some point the valves have to be checked and adjusted due to the use of solid lifters. But IMO if you can afford it, that car is well worth it.
Any time you're having a bad day just goose it and hear that intake roar.
Awesome vehicle! Congrats!

Congrats on the F. You had one of the sickest-looking gen4s on this site, imo. Your setup was a great help to me, and others on this forum, I'm sure. Have fun !!!!!
