What is the best spark plugs for the 5SFE?

I was watching PowerBlock last weekend and they ran tests and showed based on actual tests they conducted themselves that indeed E3 spark plugs not only increased horsepower and fuel economy but decreased emissions. Sounds freaking awesome. What do you guys think, anybody try these ever? On the forums I have been reading the Bosch pretty much sucks and is unreliable but NGK is highly recommended.

My plan for the spring was to run another treatment of Seafoam through my car (crankcase, brake booster, and gas tank 1:1:1), change the oil, replace fuel filter (idk when it was even replaced last), change the oil, upgrade to NGK spark plugs and get new NGK wires while I am at it too. But before I plan ahead for all this I am greatly considering E3.

Please guys, any advice/experience/ stories regarding these spark plugs or maybe just what you would recommend.

First rule of an advertising-supported show: never piss off your advertisers.

There's a happy medium between cheaping out on crap parts and wasting your money on snake oil. Stick to Denso or NGK.

If you still have your owner's manual check that. It will specify what Denso and NGK brands are recommended for your car. They will be double platinum and should last 60,000 miles.

I didn't know that the manual actually reccomended those brands specifically. I guess this is what you get when you have no idea where you put the owner's manual.

But E3's weren't even around when our cars were made. I've heard some really good things about those spark plugs, but i will wait for more reviews before i'd try them.

I'd get NGK Iridium-IX. These will work in standard or the stinking waste spark systems. The longer lasting Laser Iridium (with a platinum ground pad) is no longer listed for waste spark systems for some reason.

There is no reason you need to get platinum plugs any more.
