It screws into the regulator. Is this screw need to be in the regulator? How tight? What is it for? 96 1MZ-FE __________________ 94 Land Cruiser 374,000 mi 96 Camry 1MZ-FE 230,000 mi

It is a 2000 solara V6 with 190,000 miles. I just put the screw back in and tighten it slightly. I think it is just a mouting screw, but I can't say for sure.
