Gen 3 and Gen 4 4 cyl trans interchangeable?
On CL, had a 92 Camry 4 cyl for sale, lady was asking for $1800. Haven't seen it yet, emailed back and forth, I offered $800 to $1000, even without see it cause these cars are tanks. She mentioned something with electrical. Well, seems as if everyone who was going to see her car flake, including me. I told her I bought another car for $500 and can only offer $500 and she bit. She mentioned now her transmission might go out in a year or two. If that's the case, I might offer even less, but are Gen 3 and Gen 4 2.2 four cylinder transmissions interchangeable? I had a 96 Camry that just went to the junkyard last week that I could have gotten the trans. Always looking for a deal and remember to lowball.
