i just wanted to know what tools are need to take off an oem 93 camry spoiler....as i will be going to the junk yard and if they do have a spoiler, but just not sure how to do it or what tools do i brings, and do i need two people to do it or what?? i mean is it fairly easy to do???
i tried the search button, but couldnt find any diy on spoilers or anything...there might be some, but i might have just missed it
Yeah I cant believe it would take much to get it off. Although a persuasion tool may be in order as its prolly stuck to the trunk lid after 20 years. Im not much for the stock spoiler look myself. I found this crazy M5 style lip spoiler made of rubber actually on ebay. Painted up nice. I really like it much more than the stock spoiler, but to each their own.
im a big fan of stock spoilers...i think the way they match the curve of the car and the spoiler are what makes me like the spoiler...i've seen other spoilers put on cars, but nothing compare to the oem ones...the m style are nice, but it's kinda hard to see if you actually have a spoiler or not..just my two cents..lol..but yours does look nice...thanks guys
Hey! You need to check the cardomain And take a look at my spoiler and tell me whats better. I think the one I have is as good or better than stock, For probably about the same price.
like i said....its kinda hard to tell if anyone has the m style lip cus it doesnt stand out as much, but like i said its good...if u like it then i like it...i just prefer the stock look better..
Heres a few pics of what it looks like installed. You are correct tho It is very subtle, and you dont notice it much at first glance but thats what I like about it.
i havent found one yet....the local junk yard doesnt have any....i'll either wait it out or just order one online...but if i do get one, i'll drill...with the oem isnt that the only way to go??
Yeah Its a little tricky tho. I used one of those soft pencil markers on the end of the screws to make marks on the trunk. This was on a grand am, but be sure to use a bit of silicone or something around the holes so you dont end up with water in the trunk too.
