1993 Camry V6 transmission problem

Hello, I drive a 1993 Camry V6 with the 4ECT Automatic transmission. I currently have 221,000 miles, and the car is fine, except for one thing: from a stop, my car revs all the way up to redline, and does not shift into second gear. Acceleration in overdrive is also terrible, and has made for some terrifying scenarios.

This happens with overdrive off/overdrive on and PWR off/PWR on.


I have already got the transmission checked out, they worked on my car for a few weeks and it still happens... Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions?

I don't know if this is related or not, but my car has erratic idle, especially after using the A/C..
