Full brake replacement

I'm looking to do an all around brake replacement soon. My fronts aren't worn too bad but the rotors are warped. I'm looking for an OE style replacement. I don't need superior power, just something that works good and lasts longs. (And doesn't break the bank).

I want the whole package. Front rotors, rear drums, shoes and pads. (And anything else I need. I don't know anything about this.)

So what are your recommendations? I'd like to get all the parts from the same place, whether that be my local Napa or Rockauto.

One other thing. My rear shoes are wearing unevenly. One side is worn almost all the way down and one side is nearly full. It's the same on the left and right wheel. What could cause this?

For fronts, Brembo makes a good rotor. Unless you race, just get non-slotted -- you don't need the extra cooling and they're less likely to warp. Akebono ProActs are decent, long wearing pads. EE rated are equivalent to OEM.

Rears, never had to replace drum pads on a Camry, so can't really help. Cams nose-dive so bad during a stop that the rears are hardly involved.

As for the wear mismatch, when did you last bleed the brakes? Might have have a big glob of something compressable (i.e., air) in the line on the side that isn't wearing much. Does she fishtail to the non-wear side?

Nope, no fishtail, nothing noticeable at all. I noticed the uneven wear 4 months ago and haven't checked since. It's likely that the worn down pad isn't making contact at all anymore...and now it's just the 1 braking.

your cylinder, return spring, or parking brake cable is sticking, make sure the cable hasn't rusted up

right now rock auto has a bunch of brake parts on clearance, you can get the new rear cylenders for like 6 bucks,

i would recomend this kit too
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...&parttype=1772

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...&parttype=1892
these too.

if your doing it all i say go all out, if you can get a good price on front calipers get those too,

bad thing with rockauto it cost alot to ship these heavy rotors and drums

You sure they are warped? I though mine were to, then I did 60-10 braking(followed by flooring it back to 60 and immediately slowing down again) 5 times and didn't use the brakes for a a couple miles, when I pulled in the driveway and got out the brakes still smelled real hot. Car stops smooth as silk now, no more grabbing on and off at a crawl. It was just buildup.
