2001 Camry CE

I just want to start off and say hi to all of you. After spending countless hours reading on the forums, only got to page 50 something, I came to realize that any question that I had someone on this site had an answer too. Well I am in the process of attaining my first camry, and so here comes upgrades. Just recently put a new head unit in. Alpine CDE-100, and all I can say is I can't believe the difference in sound quality. For anyone who wants to do one thing to their car, I would definatly suggest switching the head unit. I am looking at getting a 10" sub and amp next week. I'll post some pics once I get around to cleaning my new baby.

Just really wanted to say hi.

Sounds like a good find!

What transmission is in it? I see you have the CE so it's the 4 cylinder. I'm hoping you have the 5 speed but I won't be too broken hearted if you have the slushbox...

I agree the head unit swap is the best.

I'd also replace your speakers too. I'd invest in new speakers before the amp and sub.

Can't wait to see some pics!

I was thinking about the speakers, but I got a sub/Amp for practically free, just need the wirring kit. I do have a question though. Living up in Canada here really messed up my carpets. I plan on doing a really good wash this week when I don't work/ no school but I am inquiring about floor mats. A local shop can order in Husky heavy duty for less than what the website sells them for but I am looking for a good custom fit style. I was hoping for a liner like from weathertech but they only do the heavy duty floor mats. Any recomendations? Currently using cheapo canadain tire universal mats.

P.S. Unfortunatly its a auto, wanna learn to drive stick some day though
