4th Generation Aftermarket tranny cooler???

Hey there,

I've read a few threads and heard a few people suggest an aftermarket transmission cooler if one plans on being boosted past 4 psi. I am one for wanting my transmission to last . Where would I go about getting one?

I found this:

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...1&apwidCtAYcDJ

looks rather skimpy, going by the pictures...if anyone can tell me if that'll do the job, or if i should get something a little more beefy.

has a 3/8 inlet/outlet...I see another one w/ no tubes or clamps with a .63 inch outlet. if anyone has done this mod...what will suffice for 5-6psi. (going to be doing 5, but just to be safe).

Thanks,
-Chris

Most of the tranny coolers I've seen have been about that size.

Check www.andysautosport.com for some, but don't buy from there. There are a few for the camry.

Also, check out www.summittracing.com

Ok, cool thank you. Also, what i'm taking from that is, they're pretty much universal?? Anyways, I found one on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CIGE96/...SIN=B000CIGE96

If this will work, then I'll go ahead and get it. Anyone who's installed one of these before, how difficult is it to do? a basic overview of what needs to be done would be nice . Thanks

you have a cooler already built in to the radiator, you see 2 hoses from the trans to the rad.

what he saying to do is put from the radiator to the cooler back to the trans.
