It's just a generic kit not for any particular engine ... And it's not even that good of a generic kit. If you know anything about boost and internals you wouldn't buy parts from Ebay ...
seeing how the scepter was gen3 only id imagine its for a 5sfe within thoes years. but looking at the picture(if thats an accurate pic) i wont be a bolt on.
typically, its the turbo, blowoff and other major parts that are chep with an ebay kit. the universal parts liek cuplers, tubing and such are usually fine.
finally, TONS of these have been posted over the years and NO ONE hase ever bought one.
TRD S/C fits the 3vz too. Just needing a ISC adapter like this company in UK did for Mr2's. I wonder how much the adpater cost 'cause i would like to do that in the near future. Heres some examples:
yea i checked as well..its 600 bucks for that little adapter.
i mean...for the same amount of money for that SC setup
2500 for SC
600 for adapter
a turbo that will do give 350whp on the 3VZ would cost only around 1K...a turbo built would be another 2.5K...so for a tiny bit more, u can have a turbo setup instead of that sc setup..so yea..food for thought
Man, it's that expensive for a fuckin' adapter??? That sucks. I could go to a metal shop and have it done 4 less. But u got a point of doing a turbo setup fro a lil more than the S/C. Basically looking for more power and reliability.
Personally, S/C in my Lex would be nice when u dont want to have to remove certain items on the car to do a turbo setup like cruise control and battery for example. I would like to do a setup just like cobb tuning did on this camry.
I realized this is supposed to be a 4cyl. Ebay turbo setup. Sorry for the thread jacking, lol

hm, in that case, let me know when you want the $1k, you can build mine
seriously though, how do you get a turbo on the 3vz for under 1k? The turbo alone is like $7-800... and there's a lot of custom work as far as piping goes...

Shoot me a PM, I'll see what I can do
i think i see where he got confused, but your numbers are pretty accurate. it would be 3 grand at least for a GOOD proper turbo 3vz(engine and turbo setup included). if thats what you were gettin at.
