4th Generation Gen 4 2.4 L 4 cylinder spark plug wire resistance limits?

Hello,

I have been out of the Camry forums for a bit since I picked up a nice convertible. My sister has been using my car and I have been having some issues with the car turning on in the cold. I have about 253k miles on it now, and I am going to try to do some maintenance. I tried searching a few times for spark plug wire resistance limits, and I have found threads where people talk about it, but I never can find any specs. Can anyone direct me where to look or tell me what they are? Thanks!

Shuluke

Generally 10-15 K-Ohms per foot. So with the I4, you shouldn't see anything much above 10 K-Ohms or so. Or you can call NGK and ask.

BTW, there are other reasons for not starting well in cold weather. Oil viscosity and battery strength are among them. Your local Autozone may be able to help test your battery. Spark plug wires typical give you idle trouble, rough running and the like.
