cel code for purge system

today took my car to the dealer for oil change nad to hve the cel checked out. the check engine light is for purge flow bypassvalve. thay quoted me $262. does this seem right. and is easy to do it your self,

take it to like autozone to double check it is the same code

If it's the typical VSV that goes bad on the air filter housing, then it's about $43 part. Easily done if you're mechanically inclined.

If it's the pressure routing VSV for testing purposes on the canister, it's harder to get to. (Looks like above).

If $262 is for the one on top of the air filter housing. HA HA HA HA HA
