scraping noise drivers side front brakes

so while going to see theise big ass waves today i took the camry down this crator ridden road i parked then shortly after i got going again and there was a scraping noise
it sounded like smothing draging so i pulled over and looked underneth nothing got going again and pulled over in a parking lot checked out that whole area
i was thinking i bent a dust sheild or somthing
then i backed up and put it in drive and no more noise?

i did notice that the inner brake disc side was warn deep with a lip on the edge

Is the pad thinner on the inside? If so the caliper piston is sticking, causing accelerated wear. The caliper/anchor pin/glide rails may need cleaning and lubing. And when you change directions, it typically causes pads/calipers to shift a bit. That might have helped.

It may be time to rebuild the calipers and replace all the rubber parts, especially over 100K miles.
