Electronic Transmission Problem

I have a '94 Camry w/ AT and have a strange problem. My transmission is having trouble downshifting. The strange thing is when I press the brake pedal the Reverse Light comes on the cluster panel and the indicator light that tells you when a bulb is out. The car will downshift on decrease in speed but changes only after decent to heavy vibration of the transmission stalling as it downshifts. This is only a problem when the brake is applied. If I slow down going up an incline it doesn't give the same issues. Transmissino upshifting is not having any problems. Is this a sensor issue or possibly the solenoid, or is it a ECU issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

Pop the trunk. Example the wires at the bend. Are there wear?
