4th Generation OBX Catback System

Hey guys I searched but idk if its my computer or the site but it wont load any of the pages after i hit search so i had to start a new thread!

But any ways I ordered the OBX Cat-back System for the 97-01 Camry with the 5F and im trying to get the old stuff off! I have sprayed it with almost a hole can of that rust removing stuff...cant remember the name right now! But TO take it off at the cat its just the two bolts right? and the other hangers and O2 sensors down the pipe right?
Also i cant seem to get the bolts to move an inch! Any tips on getting this started????

Thanks a bunch!

ill bet....5 dollars it doesnt work. youll likely have to cut it off. im not sure if the cat uses studs or not. if they do youll have to either replace thoes or drill out the location of the studs and install bolts.

the OBX isnt bad, we havnt had any complaints that i know of. but theres also the megan racing catbacks as well, 2 styles that i think LOOK better then the OBX(OBX is actually a copy of the JPP)

OBX Catback for 2.2l gen 4 camry

I just got the system on finally after 4 days of trying to get it off my self i took it to my local exhaust shop....Good thing i did! I think the company sent me the wrong exhaust....Lets see were do i start?

1.the exhaust didn't match up with the cat so they had to cut the end of it off and weld it to the cat
2. all the mounts were in the wrong place for the brackets
3. there was no hole for the 2nd o2 sensor
4.they had to re bend the pipe.
5.should have took and hour it took more like 2-2 1/2hours

All in all i could have had a custom system built for less so i wouldn't buy the OBX system for the 2.2l Camry if you don't want to pay another 175 bucks just to get it on the car or unless you can do all the welding and bending your self.....

SOUNDS GOOD! that's a pulse and i haven't done any dyno but it seems to pull a little stronger. not bogging down at 85 any more on this hill i race up more like 90-95 and it still keeps going..... Proformance and sound are a pluse!

why the hell didnt you send it back!?! tons of people have gotten that system (which is an exact copy of the JPP catback) and it worked fine...hell it even works on the gen3.

glad it sounds good though.

The shop didn't tell me every thing that was wrong with it tell i came to pick up the car.... so i guess its kinda there fault for not keeping in-touch with me but i am satisfied! more money then i wanted to spend but it looks and sounds good If you have the money go for it is what i guess im saying.....
