ABS light is ON

So I just had my friend drive my car at night to see how good it looks and I noticed you can notice the ABS warning light from outside.
I've never been a fan of CEL or anything in my instrument cluster and i decided to act on this.

So on Ebay, I saw an ABS computer from a Lexus, supposedly would go in my 1993 for under $50, shipped.
Do you think this will take care of the Light?

Thanks in Advance Guys.

I just clocked 154900 on my 93 Camry. 50K miles in 4 years.

Throwing parts at it is never a good idea. Yes that computer is cheap but may not be the problem. Take it to a shop and have the codes pulled and the wheel speed sensors tested. Then go from there.

3rd Generation

I Agree...usually it's a wheel sensor...check it out first...

Check the Haynes manual at Pep Boys and it should tell you the way to extract the ABS code. If it's the same as later models you can google as well.

The code should point you right to the problem, for example, a wheel sensor.
