Simple question help

Hi all I just bought My first car ever a 1999 toyota solara and so far im very pleased with it especially because of all the features. being my first car i didnt expect it to be so well built which brings me to my question there seems to be a compartment on the roof of the car right by the lights on top of the rearview mirror( sort of) that has three small buttons when ever i push one a little light near them goes on i think they are the secret to opening that compratment but i have no idea can anyone shine some light on the subject I might end up going to the dealer to ask them what is that for. thank you

To open the sunglass holder, just press either near the front-middle or the back-middle (can't remember off the top of my head) and it will fold down.

The compartment I think is to hold a garage door opener, and you can remove that door and put in a similar coloured door to be the sunglasses holder.

watch which button you press, one of them is the Self-Destruct Button!

It should be the sunglass holder, push it, it should come down.
I'm a gen 3 guy so I wouldnt know for sure.

But thats from experience with other cars.

It could be the programmable homelink garage door opener button. There should be 3 with small green lights. all 3 are programmable.

+1

usually 1 for an automatic gate, 1 for a garage door, and 1 for a home security system.
