Help! Connector near Pass Side Relay Block (What is it?!? pic included)

hi guys,

i need your help!

my 95 I4 camry has a burning smell coming from the heater when it's idle. so, as suggested by one of the members, i took out the passenger side kick panel (relay block #4) to check if it was the 40A heater fuse burning.

when i removed the panel, i noticed this connector free and not plugged in. i'm worried if i accidentally pulled it out of its plug, eventhough i can't figure out what plug it goes into.



it seems too short (or taped up too tightly) to go into the plug beside the black heater relay...

please help! any ideas?

I had this same question.
I had no issues with the car, but I was troubleshooting the Cruise Control System, and there were secured, unused wiring harness.

I think it's on the forum somewhere.

now i don't have to wonder anymore and the car is safe. now i just have to figure out how to change out my valve cover gasket.
