3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I don't know very much about Solara's yet, except what they share with the Camry. And everyone on here knows the Camry! So. I'd like to get a price quote on what you guys think this is worth. It has 212k on the body, 80k on the 1MZ engine. Also has the 5-speed tranny. And judging form the color it's a 2001 model...I think.
I'd just like to know what you guys would pay for this car. And maybe a few issues you think I should look into. Thanks!!!
....okay who thought i missed the supercharger? Noooo I'd never miss that!

i told ya what i thought, the euiptment alone is worth nearly 3 grand. TRD SC, smooth engine, guages(not that they matter) 6 disc cd changer lowered on eibachs i think he said and its even tuned which is a big plus. i wouldnt have suggested this car to ya if i didnt think it was a steal. but thoes guys were willing to take 2900 from gabe so id bet you could get them down a little more. believe me, i would have bought this car on the spot if i didnt already have my car supercharged and awating a 5 speed.

oh and its green.
Holy crap -- that machine is going for $2900 or less? I'm tempted to fly out east and drive it home myself. I'd have to factor in the cost of the divorce, 'tho...probably too expensive after that
Any severe accident damage or nasty body rot? Anything wrong with the interior other than the problem with the driver's seat?
anyway, if i were you, i'd buy it, get a set of wheels, lower it more, take out the seats, get some racing bucket seats
get another steering wheel...get some clear depos and retrofit with projectors and done...
Even though its got Hella miles and a rebuilt engine, you can tell he kept it up. But with that supercharger you know its been beat on for sure. If its offered a fair price take it $3000 sounds fair. I don't mean to be pessimistic but realistic, you'll need the money you save for replacement parts, the first of which will probably be a transmission.
Thanks everyone! I'm seriously considering this one. And I like that its green. The camry lives on!!!

the worst body damage is a crack in the bottom of the front bumper. other then that its just scratches and small dents.

the SC must have been rebuilt, its maked NO sound at all at any RPM or under boost. it makes less noise then mine...and mine's fine.

from what i saw it wasnt. these guys have NO idea what they have. the origional owner couldnt pay for the engine work and just gave them the car. they dont even know what the tuner is for.
Well, it's up for grabs. I'm not gonna be able to swing it. :/
