3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
As most of you may know, I take my Gen3 out to autocross events in my area pretty regularly, and I try to tape my runs as often as possible, most of them from an in-car point of view. Since I take a lot of these videos, I figure I'd keep them all in one place where they are all easy for people to find. Additionally, I'd be more than happy to answer anyone's questions about my car's setup, tips for autocross, and the motorsporting experience in general. Enjoy!
Car Setup Info:
Tokico HP Struts + Intrax Springs for Gen4 V6 (Front springs are cut)
TRD Rear Sway Bar (Track Setting)
Freedom Design Front Strut Tower Bar
17x7" KMC Redline "Hotwheels" Rims + BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Tires 215/45/17
Custom Cold Air Intake
OBX Dual Tip Muffler + 2.25" Exhaust Piping
Videos/pictures are more recent as you go down the list:
for autoXing! I've been meaning to do an autoX event but never got around to it. I think I might hit up Buttonwillow on March 22 with a few other buddies since it's gonna be cheap that day.
oh, how I wish that
a)there was no snow up here
b)my car was in trackable-shape
c)I knew how to find auto-X events around montreal (although slaloming around potholes is pretty similar IMO )
Car's looking great, nesqu!k, love the rims

Need performance parts?
Shoot me a PM, I'll see what I can do
I would have made 2nd place in my class for the day if I didn't do fun runs. Slower than a 95 Civic SI, but faster than a 79 TR7, a 92 Civic, and an 81 Corolla.
In terms of the fun runs, on the other hand, I managed to beat out a bunch of Miata's, a Mustang, an IS300, a G35, another Corolla, and a Genesis Coupe!
Just goes to show it's not what you drive, it's how you drive it
