3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Is that to good of a deal or am i dreaming. I met up with this guy off craigslist and he said he can get me a 3a racing set for my car for $120!!!! Idk if I am getting screwed over or is this guy an idiot. What's your take?
Once I found a guy on Craigslist selling an Eibach pro kit set of lowering springs for a 1995 Camry for $50 for his car that he sold before he had a chance to put them on.. I talked him down to $40 but the a-hole sold them before I had a chance to pick them up... in short.. the price sounds right on.

Like others said, you get what you pay for. The suspension/tires are the last things I want to skimp out on. Eibach, Tein, H&R are good to choose from. You should also get struts installed at the same time.
'_' makes a good point, suspension plays such a crucial role for the car, I'd say almost as much as a reliable engine and transmission. I'd rather have a non-lowered car than a lowered one that looks good but is uncomfortable and dangerous.
then in that case your just back to gettin what you pay for. if you do get cheap springs your gonna want to get tokico shocks on when you install thoes springs. the cheap springs sag quickly on stock shocks and as a result youll ware the shocks out quickly, not to mention your ride will suck.
oh, and i woulnd never trust 120 for springs and install...hell i dont trust 120 for new springs...but thats me.
