good price to replace my passengers side window regulator???

the mechanic that my parents take my car too is way to expensive...he wants 175.00 for the regulator and another 100 for labor...which in my books is a rip off...he puts things off to fix on my car and i have had it.i want to keep my car for as long as possible and if he doesnt want to fix things that need to be fixed then i rather pay for it myself and go somewhere else that knows what they are doing....

now.....i found a window regulator on ebay for 33.oo...great...now iam just asking if anybody has had theirs replaced and what would be a good price to pay for labor........

Honestly you could do that yourself. Door panels pop off in five minutes and then it's a few bolts and a wiring harness. Just don't let the window fall down...

I paid $160, when I paid to have one replaced.

I watched the guy do it, and did the next two myself..its really not that hard!

$275 is way too much.

I paid $415 to have one replaced on my Grand Prix.

I really learned my lesson after that. A year ago I replaced 2 myself in my wife's Altima for $32 each. Parts from Autozone. Even came with a couple packages of door panel clips.

Almost anyone could do it.
