Resetting the ecu

I just installed a short ram air intake last night and the car has deff reacted to it on cold start up it makes a almost knock noise for a split second i dont know if it bangs on the body cuz i havnt put anything to hold it in place yet then you can hear the sucking noise which is cool. Then when i reverse and switch to drive it sometimes makes a grind noise very slightly then like kind of jumps not a lot very slightly its weird and the car drives without gas in drive for a little bit lol i shit you not i don't now why only cold start up tho it kind of did this when i first got it also can anyone shine in on this please also I'm wondering if i should reset the ecu for the upgrade and how would i do it i tried looking it up but to many conflicting answers i know a lot of questions lmao bear with me

It's normal for me. Mine does that all the time on a cold start. It's because the engine is idling high upon start up.
