RS3000 Alarm

Where is the RS3000 ECU located on the 1999 Camry. I looked under the seats, not there???
I need to program a secondremote.

It should be located left of the steering wheel. On mine you have the little led indicator "box", its located behind that. Remove the coin tray and pop out one of the rectangular slots next to the indicator. You should then see a green button you press with a pen.

Took me forever to find it.... Mines a dealer installed one but they should all be in the same spot.

OK so it's behind the red indicator light......I will check.

in my '00 Camry Solara the alarm ECU was located under the central arm rest. I had to unbolt it and remove to see the RS3000 VIP ECU. generic Camry may have a different location of RS3000 ECU.

Can you tell me the approx size of this ECU I see something tucked back in there that is greyish in color and about 4"x3"x1" + or minus. I am going to have to remove the lower panel to get at it.
