Where to Find Arm Rest Replacement

Hi guys. There's a rip on the leather covering on the front center arm rest. The car is a 98 Camry Le, the leather is a tan color. Other than recovering the torn leather, is there anywhere where I can find a replacement? I've tried looking at the local junkyards with no luck. Thanks guys.

I have a grey on with a few thousand miles on it if you want that...
It might look a little silly with your tan interior though. LoL

call a couple junk yards here in norcal, like the one in fremont is HUGE!- so you're more likely to find them there.

or..

ebay! haha! offer this guy $35 shipped, he'll budge.

Is it the COVER for the Arm Rest, or the console LID itself? (When I bought my 96 Camry last year, my Arm Rest seemed to have a split in the material, but while I was looking for another, discovered it was just a cover peice that came off, with the console lid underneath, itself fine).

Sorry guys, I forgot to mention that the car is a 98 Carmy LE, so I'm assuming the armrests from 97-01 should fit. It's the lid for the armrest that I'm looking for.

You can probably still get one from the dealership. I believe it was a bit over a hundred bucks last I inquired.

You could just take it to a tailor or some kind of fabric's shop. They can easily sew a new cover for you.

I took mine to a friend of my mother's. She sewed me up a new cover and matched the color perfectly.

That may end up being my only option since finding one is so hard.

Very easy to do yourself with any standard sewing machine. Vinyl is cheap at the fabric store. Just make your patterns cut and sew then staple it back on.

Ebay is your best bet for these. Just KEEP SEARCHING. And use Gixen.com to bid. I find them for the 97-01 models alllll the time. Make sure you get the right one. The 5S-FE and 1MZ-FE ones may be different because of the parking brake handle location.

Are the covers different or the same? I'm not looking for the entire center console assembly, only the armrest cover.

for the gen3 (92-96) theyre different. The gen 3 had longer arm rests on the V6 (excluding the V6 SE) because the parking brake handle was on the left dash instead of the center console. I'm pretty sure the gen4s are the same way. Just make sure if you have a gen 4 with a handbrake in the console, the armrest comes from one with a handbrake in the center console....and vice versa.
