Hi guys. There's a rip on the leather covering on the front center arm rest. The car is a 98 Camry Le, the leather is a tan color. Other than recovering the torn leather, is there anywhere where I can find a replacement? I've tried looking at the local junkyards with no luck. Thanks guys.

Is it the COVER for the Arm Rest, or the console LID itself? (When I bought my 96 Camry last year, my Arm Rest seemed to have a split in the material, but while I was looking for another, discovered it was just a cover peice that came off, with the console lid underneath, itself fine).
Sorry guys, I forgot to mention that the car is a 98 Carmy LE, so I'm assuming the armrests from 97-01 should fit. It's the lid for the armrest that I'm looking for.

Very easy to do yourself with any standard sewing machine. Vinyl is cheap at the fabric store. Just make your patterns cut and sew then staple it back on.
Ebay is your best bet for these. Just KEEP SEARCHING. And use Gixen.com to bid. I find them for the 97-01 models alllll the time. Make sure you get the right one. The 5S-FE and 1MZ-FE ones may be different because of the parking brake handle location.

Are the covers different or the same? I'm not looking for the entire center console assembly, only the armrest cover.

for the gen3 (92-96) theyre different. The gen 3 had longer arm rests on the V6 (excluding the V6 SE) because the parking brake handle was on the left dash instead of the center console. I'm pretty sure the gen4s are the same way. Just make sure if you have a gen 4 with a handbrake in the console, the armrest comes from one with a handbrake in the center console....and vice versa.
