3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
This is my camry. It is a 2001 Camry XLE v6 with 88xxx km. Automatic.
Completely stock with leather interior, power dual seats, sunroof, aftermarket rain guards, and fog lights. I really want to sell this car. Oil changed every 4000 km, replaced 2 front tires 2 months ago, and battery 6 months ago.
Can you guys help me estimate the price range for this car? It is located in Canada.

You're tryng to get rid of it before it is recalled? Good luck, though in selling. It seems Toyota's problem with the Camry probably goes back to 2000
What are you talking about? Back in 2000 there was no drive-by-wire technology in Camry. The only problem existed that time is sludge that could be easily avoided by some extra maintenance care.

That's bad enough. There is an investigation that the sudden acceleration of the Camry may go back to 2000, since it is pointing more to an electronic problem than mechanical. Toyota could have been using the same components to save money. If this is the case, this car will be a hard sale.
