93 Camry engine shake at cold startup

Good morning all, another problem with this car I just bought. hoping to get some advice. It's a 93 Camry V6 3VZFE with 122,000 miles, from Texas. It's seen alot of hot days.

When I start it cold, the whole car makes a rumbling sound and shakes violently, for less than 2 seconds.

The only other weird thing it's doing is it (sometimes) loses power steering assist at idle. I mention this because I think I hear the same rumbling noise when I lose the assist.

PS fluid is clean, reservoir is full, belt is new and tight. No leaks.

Just for giggles, have you tried removing the PS belt to see if if you get the same behavior with the PS pump out of the picture? Heck, you can even drive around like that for a few days -- it's not like the Cam is all that difficult to drive without PS.

my 2000 toyota camry shakes pretty crazy too on startup, but im not too worried about it honestly.

sounds to me like new/upgraded motor mounts would do the trick fine.
