How ironic, I just ordered a set of new TRD's from Gabe 2 weeks ago myself I will have them in next tuesday. You mention new strut mounts, but are your struts factory originals? If so, don't do what I did, which is order some Monroes's in November and decide to put in TRD's now If your struts are factory installed, I would go ahead and buy the following:

1. Front and Rear Mounts: KYB, Moog, Monroe, it's really up to you.
1.5. Don't forget the bearings up front for your mounts.
2. Front and Rear Lower Coil Insulator
3. Front and Rear Upper Coil Insulator
4. Front and Rear Bumpers
5. Since you have the opportunity to get new struts along with your springs, I would go with KYBs if your aim is more on the confort side, or Tokico's if you are looking for performance.

If you decide to get Monroe's, there is nothing wrong with that based on what I was told when I posted here, they will simply last less time that KYB's or Tokico's.

toyotapartszone.com, toyotapartsone.com, 1sttoyotaparts.com are great websites to get started on items 2, 3 and 4. rockauto.com is great for items 1, and I also remember the rear upper coil insulators being cheaper there for my '95 V6. Item 5, you really have to shop around and see! If I remember something, I'll post!! But good on ya getting the car the way you want it I'm currently working on that as well!

Is that applicable to a gen 3.5 as well?
On another note, Lol, I'll assume I got everything right in my post then I also forgot to mention, consider a whiteline or trd rear sway bar and a trd or generic front strut brace to tag along with all of this. An rsb is in my near futur since my stock one looks like it's break any day now

P.S. ^ He's one of the reasons I got the mod-bug on my car, right next to ASG14, Eyeball 96 and Eye8pussies EDIT, forgot to mention Lynch, for answering my endless questions

thanks for all of the info guys, i really appreciate it. i wont need to get struts though because what i ordered were trd springs and trd/bilstein struts. so i have that aspect taken care of. im working on getting either a whiteline sway bar or trd as well as a trd strut tower bar. i had ordered these parts from a website claiming to have them in stock about a month ago. they told me that all of the items i ordered we're discontinued and out of stock. well yeah i already knew that. they said that they just havent updated their website and im still waiting for reimbursement. hopefully this all works out, from what ive heard gabe is a very reputable seller. i just hope they get to me quick!

Yeah Gabe is a very good seller. Good luck with the install. You will be loving the ride once everything is installed. Hope you can get everything on by the March 20th meet so I can see it all.

seriously, dont pay someone to put them on. It will take you 4 hours, a socket set, and the rent a tool (free) spring compressors from autozone. i did mine in about 2 hours but i know the ropes.

Wish I knew you could rent a spring compressor... man... Would have saved me $700... the dealership I went to charged me an arm and a leg.
