Auto Lock & Repair Manual

I'm a new member and have a 93 4c Camry. I'm having problems with the auto lock button where it will unlock but not lock. Do you think it's just a bad switch?
Also, what repair manual is recommended? I have a couple for my BMW and some are more detail than others.

Yeah, and to TN!

As to your question. Are you talking about the button on driver's door that locks/unlocks all doors?
What happens if you use passenger's button?

Yeah, I'm talking about the button on the driverside door. Duh, not sure why I didn't try the passenger door. I'll check it.
