My wipers work, but not normally.
After reading several posts on the subject, I suspect the motor.
Where is it mounted and what do I need for its removal?
Any useful comments and suggestions will be much appreciated.
Motor's on the driver's side firewall. See www.camrystuff.com , Generation 4, Body Electrical section, starting on page 39 for testing and R&R information.

Me again,
Wipers won't park normally and the intermittent mode disappeared.
Wouldn't that be a rather defective Combination Switch?
If so, I'm barking at the wrong tree trying to remove the motor, true?
might have to check the electrical manual for that answer, but I would say that it probably isn't the motor either then, since it is all electronically controlled by a module of some sort (I presume- sorry, never really looked too hard into the wiper functions)

Not parking correctly could be the motor, but I can't think of anything except the switch (or the wiring) that would cause intermittent to go bye-bye.
However, given what joyous fun it is to get to the combo switch, I'd recommend getting a cheap multimeter and run through the motor and switch tests -- the connector is nice and accessible.

Thanks for the advice.
Makes sense, will do some tests first.
