Well, it's seldom necessary (of the four "motor mounts", the one at the transaxle takes the least amount of abuse). If it needs replacing, easiest way in in through the driver's wheel well -- loosen wheel nuts; jack up front of car and set jackstands (preferable short ones) on both sides; remove wheel; loosen nuts on the mount; jack up engine a bit using a floor jack and a 2x4 against the oil pan (may have to remove the top bolt on the front engine mount to get enough movement); switch out mount; lower engine; bolt everything back together.
