3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
ok so iv read everywhere about max tire sizes and all sorts of stuff.. my gen3.5 camry now sits on H&R springs, rolling on 245/45R17 tires! thats right, and no rubbing even with the wheel cranked all the way to either side
you may recognize them as mustang rims, i ordered TRD centers from ebay and will put them in as soon as they get here.
Breakthrough? How? I ran the same setup... 245/45R17's lowered on H&R's with Tokico shocks. I had ZERO issues and I autocrossed the car. I like the bullitt wheels man.

I've seen other members on here do similar. Weird though, musts be some small variances but when I tried to run 05+ Mustang 17" with a 235/55 they rubbed on the rear. (I ran them on 96 Park Ave for 3+ years)
Those look like the older style 99-04 wheel. It's the offset I'm sure. The older style has a more negative offset.
bah im very tempted at looking into these rims for the future. ever since 2wickedtoyz did it ive been in love. they look amazing. i would deff not be able to tuck those on mine though with 45 series since im running on sprints/tokicos. prob would do a 40 series. i gotta start searchin around for a nice set.
If your in SoFla, I say you saw them on another Camry and got the idea......
Called out!
