Here's a mini update. I took the OE grille scuffed the chrome with a green Scotch Brite for a brushed look. Then I painted the inner grille and T logo gloss black.

I'm really happy with the way it came out and like it much more than the OE style. I think the only mod I have left to do is some Tien S techs on KYBs.

Yes they are SE wheels of an 09. I will have more pics up tomorrow you want some. It's pretty late now and dark outside.

I know I might get flamed but I also just installed a 5k HID kit. No projectors, I know.

Don't worry about the HIDs. I did the same thing with my 4300k HIDs.

Docotrs without borders! My cosuin does that. (Wow i'm off topic today.) And nice grille by the way. Close ups of the "brushed chrome"?

Can't really see the brushed chrome in the pics, but the black emblem looks nice.

You might want to consider putting clear coat on it to protect the black from getting chipped by pebbles.

I've painted mines black chrome w/o clear coat and now there's a lot of rock chips with the chrome showing through, looks bad.

^ agreed.... I'll hit it with some clear in the morning. I was out of it in the rattle can so I didn't have much choice and I was a bit hasty to get it on and take some pics. I will spray it with some Duplicolor Paint Shop Clear. It was getting late and I didn't feel like cleaning and preping the spray gun. I will retake some pics in the AM.
